We may be in the dead of winter but we’re dreaming of warmer days ahead. When spring arrives, make sure to visit the following spot in Charm City. This underrated place is colorful, cheery, and is the official sign that spring has sprung!
Sherwood Gardens is a free admission garden that dates all the way back to 1920. Every year, approximately 80,000 tulip bulbs are planted, making for a wondrous spring display.
When the weather begins to warm, head to this spot and explore the six acres of endless blooms.
Be sure to bring your camera, since you'll spot nearly every color you can imagine.
This spot is perfect for any age, as children will love running around the green space, and adults can take a break among the antique benches throughout the area.
What makes this place even more amazing are the trees that bloom right along with the tulips. If you love a beautiful picnic, then feel free to sit and enjoy. We're already counting down the days until we can experience the beauty of Sherwood Gardens once more.
