There are a lot of hidden gems in Baltimore just waiting to be discovered. The following spot is an architectural wonder that anyone would love, especially if you’re a bookworm…
The George Peabody Library is located in Baltimore's Mount Vernon area. Although it may look somewhat ordinary from the exterior, the view inside will blow you away.
Although it was built for the Conservatory, it has always been open to the public as well. George Peabody enjoyed knowing that this grand library was being used to broaden the minds of Baltimoreans needing a place to quietly read and learn.
If you're not getting hitched, you can still see this spell-binding place for yourself. Visiting hours for the public are Tuesday to Thursday from 9am – 5pm, and Friday from 9am – 3pm.
