The snow has fallen, more is on the way and the temps have been consistently low for weeks. That can only mean one thing: winter is here! There’s plenty to do outside this time of year, but consider this your valid excuse to stay indoors. We’ve found a yarn store that doubles as a wine shop and it basically proves what we’ve all known all along. Maine is actually heaven. Located about an hour from Portland, this store is worth a visit.
Fiber & Vine is located at 402 Main St., Norway, Maine. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Take a look at their events page here and then stick around to explore the rest of the website which includes an online shop. They can be reached on 207-739-2664.
Maine has no shortage of unique shops and stores. This converted chicken barn is now an antiques and book shop, which means you’ll probably want to make sure you have an entire day to spend inside.
