This Winter Hike Will Remind You That Maine Is Even Better In The Snow
Being in Maine during the winter doesn’t mean that you have to avoid all of your favorite activities. In fact, things are better in the winter. And, now that there’s some solid snowfall – the world of opportunities has expanded! Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tubing – the list goes on and on. Today we bring you another winter activity that is oftentimes left only for warmer weather – hiking! Try this fun and easy hike for some good, winter outdoor fun!

It can be accessed by parking in the Osgood Parking lot. Head across the street and keep an eye on the fairly well-marked trail heading upwards.
You'll cross a bridge, and then begin the portion of the trail that's slightly steeper than the rest. Get it out of the way early is what we always say! Soon, you'll come to another bridge. From here, stay on the left.

Once you reach the the top you'll see a sign directing you to go down the mountain (a left turn) or up the mountain (a right turn.) You'll want to keep heading up!

You've made it! Here you can take in the incredible view. Don't rush down the mountain - stay awhile and enjoy it.
