Maine is home to many hidden gems but we are particularly fond of its covered bridges. These unique structures create picture-perfect scenes that are incredibly romantic and make you fall in love with the Pine Tree State. And while there are covered bridges that are quite well known – like the Sunday River Bridge – one of our favorites is Babb’s Bridge. When you visit, it will feel like you are taking a walk through history.
Have you seen Babb’s Bridge in person? What are your favorite covered bridges in Maine? Let us know in the comments. You can learn more about Babb’s Bridge on Maine’s Department of Transportation website.
