The salty breezes of Maine aren’t hard to find. Not when so much of the state borders the ocean! This is one of the most characteristic elements of time spent in Maine. You can find it by visiting the beach for the day, but these days we’re looking for more unique ways to enjoy the coast. A drive is always nice, but there’s nothing quite like being outside. This trail will take visitors along the coast for one of our favorite ways to enjoy nature Downeast.
The Bar Harbor Shore Path can be accessed year-round and is said to be best for walking, hiking, running, and even fishing. You can learn more about it by visiting this page on alltrails.com. And don’t forget the pups! As long as they’re on a leash, they’re more than welcome to enjoy the experience.
