Playgrounds bring out the kid in all of us. When we were children we would run, jump, climb, and swing on every piece of equipment we could get our little hands on. The Marcotte Park Playground is in a little park near downtown Lewiston that adds a bit of something new to your typical playgrounds. They have slides and swings but they also add a brand-new element.

This turtle won't hide in his shell when kids come by but instead is available to climb and play. Children can ride the massive reptile as if they are journeying across pretend landscapes.

The water holds fish and bubbles that are like funhouse mirrors. Kids can pretend to swim with the aquatic life or go fishing if they want to.
