My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
You have surely heard of the giant trolls taking over the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, right? These giant wooden structures are an amazing addition to an already incredible garden. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens in Maine. With fun things to do with the kids to amazing scenery. But did you know that there is a cafe hidden within the walls of this enchanted garden?
Since the trolls have taken over, the garden just isn't the same.
It is so much better! The trolls will really bring in a crowd and for good reason. These towering creatures take a little bit of hiking and map-reading to find. If you come for the trolls, you are sure to have a great time.
The garden is filled with lush vegetation everywhere you look.
Big beautiful plants and flowers fill the area making it positively enchanting. Butterflies can be seen flying around and the whole place has a magical feel to it.
They boast a simple but elegant menu featuring great local ingredients. The salads are wonderfully adorned with decorative pieces and delicious greens.
Those meals also are plated to perfection and are made from fine local ingredients. Maine has rich and special foods that are of course indigenous to our state. One of those specialties is lobster. Being surrounded by the enchanted garden with magic filling the air can make it almost feel like you are a million miles away from the ocean. However, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens makes its home in the town of Boothbay so seafood is fresh.
Save room for dessert or just come for the pie either way you are sure to be satisfied with each mouth-watering sweet bite.
The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens houses many attractions. The cafe is a bonus with sweet treats to indulge in. The magic does not stop when summer is over, though. The ever-popular Gardens Aglow event happens around Christmas every year and we highly recommend it. Please visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens website for all your planning needs.
