To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
We’ve given you B&B recommendations and told you about our favorite cabins, but what we have yet to talk about are treehouses and we think we’ve found the best ones Maine! This unique spot offers an opportunity to have to have an experience that is truly different than others. Climb up and spend the night without breaking the bank at TimberStone Adventures in East Stoneham.
The Spruce Suite which is pictured here comes with lots of amenities, including a kitchen, full bath, a loft with a double bed and a futon in the living room for two additional guests. It comes with everything you'll need for cooking! If all of this sounds far too fancy, you'll also be provided with a BBQ grill that takes 1lb propane tanks which you can purchase at the "treesort" or bring with you. And, perhaps best of all, it has a wrap around deck to truly immerse yourself in the surrounding trees and nature.

This more "primitive" treehouse lacks any running water or bedding. It comes with a 12v lighting system for times when you really need a little bit of creature comfort. But, mostly, this place is a nature lover's dream!
