Finding great seafood in Maine is easy. We’re known for the freshest catches, the best preparation, and some of the most authentically nautical places to eat it. But while we love fresh seafood, there’s something so comforting about a hearty basket of fried fish. Crispy and delicious, it might not be the healthiest but it sure does make us happy!
Susan's Fish N Chips in Portland has been around since 1989, earning its way into the hearts of both locals and tourists.
Inside you'll find long picnic tables with nautical decor. But since the main attraction here is the food, you probably won't be too worried about what's on the walls.
In addition to the individual items, there are a few combo options including The combo dinner which includes any two items and the seafood platter which includes just about anything.
And while other seafood spots in the state close after Labor Day, Susan's is open year-round which means you can satisfy your Maine-made fish cravings any time.
