As lakes go, Maine certainly has some of the best. While we can’t help but adore them all, some have a little something special that sets them apart from the rest. This one is a great example. Surprising in that it is a fairly large lake that is spring fed, it’s also one of the clearest you’ll find in the state! If you haven’t already (and even if you have!), take a trip to Lake St. George State Park in Liberty, Maine.
