My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
When the snow starts to pile up in Maine, it’s time to get outside and make the most of it. We have a love-hate relationship with the snow, but when you are stuck with it for up to six months you just have to make the most of it. Finding fun things to do to get outside is really the key to winter survival. Pineland Farms sledding hill in Maine is enough to make even those who hate snow fall in love with the winter months.
Pineland Farms in New Glouster has everything you need to make the most out of your winter.
A picturesque farm backdrop is a beautiful place for an epic sledding hill. The sledding hill itself is graded into slick, smooth, and packed-down snow allowing for a fast and thrilling ride. The steep decline will help to build speed and you may be surprised at just how far one single run might take you.
The owners have generously opened the hill up to the public for free.
Bring your own sled or intertube and fly down the hill with reckless abandon. This experience is enough to make you feel just like a kid again. If you need a sled you can also rent one so you won't miss out on any of the fun.
