The cost is approximately $350 per night and everything you’ll need is included with the exception of food. The houseboat cannot be driven except by the host so a stay does not require any boating knowledge. Be prepared for a beautiful, but slightly off-grid stay as there’s no wifi and cell service may be spotty depending on your carrier.

If you prefer your getaways to include a few more people you’ll want to head to one of the more touristy areas of the state. They all offer plenty to see and do, so certainly don’t avoid these places simply because they’ve already been discovered.
