There are plenty of places to enjoy a weekend away in Maine. From the coast to the mountains to the trails to the lakes, whatever scenery and natural surroundings you love Vacationland will provide them. While we’ve found the proliferation of upscale hotels along the coast fascinating (30 years ago would you have guessed that people would pay $500 a night to sleep here?!) we always have preferred the more local spots. Bed and breakfasts have our heart, but this little revamped motel reminds us of car trips from childhood.
The Lincolnville Motel can be booked online here. Prices range from about $100 to $75 depending on the month. You can also learn more about it on Facebook. You can reach them seasonally on 207-236-3195. Address: 4 Sea View Drive, Lincolnville, ME 04849.
