Special night? When you have the option of rooftop dining surrounded by beautiful views, it’s an option worth taking. Whether you have a special day coming up or just want to feel special on a regular day, dining on the roof is something that will always feel special. Let’s head up to the roof for a change!
Dining on the roof at Luna is a newer experience sitting on top of the Canopy Portland Waterfront Hotel. With a warm and cozy atmosphere, you'll find that food and cocktails by the fire is a special way to enjoy a classy night out.
The menu includes all sorts of delicious things to try, from chicken katsu to salmon with all sorts of stops in between. Whether it's a charcuterie board or a plate of fritters with friends, the view and the atmosphere are enough to make your night out special.
With every seat in the house having a great view, there's really no way to go wrong at The View. As long as the venue isn't closed for a private event, you can enjoy a great night out under the stars with a drink in hand.
The View is true to its name, with stunning views of the water and plenty of menu items plated just as prettily. As the sun sets, you can sample everything from oysters or pasta to lobster and cheesecake. On the water like this, everything tastes a little better.
Speaking of being on the water, next on the list is Water's Edge restaurant. Less of a fancy occasion and more of a local hangout, the eats hot and ready when you order.
Bar food items like pretzels or wings are on the menu alongside crab cakes and chowder, making sure that everyone has something great to choose. Sandwiches, fish, and delicious desserts galore will fill you up as you gaze out over the water on your night out. Seriously, the views are amazing!
What do you think about rooftop dining? With beautiful views like this, it’s hard to choose between these spots, but adding them all to your bucket list is a good start. Each location could be a different occasion if you plan things right!
