Despite its official nickname being the Pine Tree state, most people know Maine as simply Vacationland. One visit and you’ll see why! Living here feels a lot like being on a permanent vacation, which is why we can’t fault tourists for coming here in droves. With so many people from away enjoying the state, we’ve found that we love finding spots that are relatively undiscovered. This place, sitting all the way up in The County, is a great example. For local Mainers, this spot feels like an actual vacation no matter what time of year you visit!
The Long Lake Sporting Club is a year-round spot. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can learn more about them, see their menu and keep up with seasonal hour changes by checking out the website. Follow them on Facebook for more information. They can be reached on 207-543-7584.
