There is nothing quite like spending time in one of Maine’s incredible state parks. Whether you are an outdoor lover or you simply want to spend some time outside of the house, one of the many state parks in Maine is an excellent option. However, if you are like me, choosing the state park to explore can be tough, especially if you are in need of some time away from the crowds. Fortunately, there is Peaks-Kenny State Park. This hidden gem is tucked away on the shores of Sebec Lake and is one of the more remote and best state parks in Maine. It is beautiful, offers plenty of activities for the entire family, and boasts outdoor opportunities galore. It’s truly the perfect place to escape.
