No matter what we’re hungry for, pizza always seems to satisfy a craving. And, in a state like Maine, there are plenty of options. If you’re in one of the larger towns, you’ll find specialty pies and unique toppings galore. But what if you’re not in a place like Portland? Fear not! This grocery store has exactly what you want. And, their toppings rival any of those found elsewhere. Why? Read on to find out!
If you find yourself in Naples with a hunger that only pizza can satisfy, you’ll want to look for the always-fun Umbrella Factory Supermarket. With the giant umbrella image, you can’t miss it!
While it might seem like life inside is one big novelty, you might be surprised that you can find everything you’re looking for here. This place is a fully stocked grocery store.
And, if you’re not here for ingredients to make your own meal, you can still end up eating a fresh, hot dinner courtesy of their in-house pizza counter.
They carry an impressive 32 different pizza options. How about the taco pizza featuring nacho cheese sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken (or beef!) and a number of other toppings that somehow all end up tasting like a taco party.
While we love what’s featured on their regular menu, there’s no beating the custom pizza option. If you can find it on the shelves, you can bring it to the back to be included as a topping on your pie. If you can conjure it in your imagination, they can turn it into a pizza. From savory to sweet, they’ll do it all!
We love that you can combine a grocery shopping trip with pizza and know you’ll end up leaving with your very own creation.
The Crazy Stallion Pizza Pie Factory can be found in The Umbrella Factory Supermarket. The pizza counter is typically open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday they’re open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. They’re closed on Tuesday. You can learn more about them here or you can follow them on Facebook. They can be reached on 207-693-3988.
