We’ve all been taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And with the fuel it gives us all day long, we just can’t argue it. That’s why we like to make breakfast as special as can be. Whipping something up at home is convenient, but when you consider all the ways you can make the meal extra-special by heading out to this Biddeford hot-spot you might find yourself eating out more often!
Palace Diner in Biddeford is one of Maine's most beloved institutions. Around sine 1927, it was built by the Pollard Company and was moved to Biddeford where it has spent all its life. And, fun fact, it's one of just two Pollard cars in the country!
Today the diner is owned by Greg Mitchell and Chad Conley who reopened it in 2014. It's a thriving part of the southern Maine community and we're lucky to have it. But what's the best part?
It'd be easy to say we love the ambiance. Rustic and old-timey, we love that this place feels like a true old-school diner. But the best thing about any diner is the food and Palace has some of the best.
These things are huge, fluffy and picture-perfect! They're great as a stack on their own or you can add all the breakfast fixings like eggs, sausage and bacon.
When things start to look a little more normal around here, we're hoping they'll get back to their special dinner nights! But until then, rest assured that they're ready to provide you with the best pancake breakfast in the area!
Palace Diner is open daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Right now they’re offering takeout options so be sure to check out their website if you’d like to order ahead online. You can also follow them on Facebook for updated information. They can be reached on 207-284-0015.
