The winter in Maine means a whole lot of staying in one place. When it’s too cold to enjoy the great outdoors, we often spend more time at home. But, now that spring is here we can sense that familiar itch to explore again. Knowing that traveling far away might not be possible all the time, we love that so many lovely getaways exist right here in Maine. This one is extra-special!
Head to beautiful, rural Durham and you'll be surrounded by tons of nature. And nestled within that nature is a lovely Maine farm. Old Crow Ranch has been around since 2008, and with its “Forever Farm” designation it will remain a farm forever. And secreted away on this beautiful farm is the Crow's Nest Tiny House, perfect for your next getaway!
The loft features a queen-sized mattress and the room is oh-so cozy. The skylight lets light stream in during the day and allows for star-gazing at night.
Downstairs in the main area, you'll find a galley kitchen with a 2 burner stove, huge sink, small fridge and freezer, dishes, pots & pans, iron skillet. For morning folks, there's a tea kettle and coffee maker. It's impossible to not feel at home here!
And, best of all, you'll be totally surrounded by the best of Maine! Beautiful farmland, blue sky and the sounds you can only appreciate when you're in a quiet place.
But, of course, if you prefer your vacations to include no extra strain, feel free to say hello each morning and enjoy a good book for the rest of the day!
