There are a lot of things we imagine doing here in Maine. Some are obvious, like taking challenging hikes to amazing views or being able to spend the entire weekend at a beautiful resort doing nothing. But one thing we think about a lot of here is what it might be like to work on a lobster boat. Since we’re not willing to wake up long before dawn to actually investigate things like this, we’re glad there’s a tour that helps bring it to life!
Rocky Bottom Fisheries Lobster Demonstration tours are $55 per person aged 12+ and $35 for those 2 to 11. Kids under 2 are free but still require a ticket. They also offer a few other tours and you can learn about each one by checking out their website. You can also follow them on Facebook. They can be reached on 207-274-1844.
