There’s nothing quite like visiting a good ol’ Maine classic. Food, drinks and even attractions that have been around forever make it feel like we’re home. And we can’t help but wonder if changes to these classics will hold up. This one in the Old Port certainly has and we recommend a visit!
If you've spent any time in Portland you, of course, know about Pat's Pizza in the Old Port.
It's a great spot to get a slice, a whole pie or chicken fingers and fries. It's a Maine institution that many of us have been to over and over again. They recently came under new ownership.
And after months of rumors, their upstairs speakeasy has become a reality! Pie North is officially open for business. Simply walk up to the highest level of the restaurant and you'll find it.
And right now the place is so new that there's a good chance you'll have the pick of whatever you'd like to play. Just be sure to get there early as evening fill up!
In a place like Maine, being able to get dinner and then visit a fun arcade-style bar all under one roof is appealing. Double the fun with zero going outside!
Pie North opened in January of 2020 so things are still relatively new. It's certainly worth a visit now as they get the word out, but you can bet that this place will get busy the more folks talk about it. So, be sure to enjoy it now.
Pie North’s unofficial hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. These might change so be sure to keep a watchful eye on their Facebook page. You can reach them on 207-699-4455.
