In a place as eclectic as Maine it’s no surprise that residents have a whole bunch of stuff they’ve been carrying around their whole lives. From furniture left behind by Great Aunt Mildred to the toys that kids have long forgotten, we have a lot of funny things in our basements and attics. Maybe that’s why our flea markets are some of the best in New England! And of the best, this one in Maine stands out!
The Montsweag Flea Market is open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from May through October. On Wednesday stop by for their special antiques day. Hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Wednesdays they open an hour earlier at 5 a.m. You can learn more here or check them out on Facebook.
