Explore the 15 acres of forested freshwater wetlands that run up the ridge from the shores of Curtis Cove. Follow the path to the rocky coast. It an easy and direct hike that's doable by all skill levels!
Make sure to make your way to Stover's Point Preserve where you’ll have views of Orr’s Island, as well as the surrounding sound. This 180-degree view of the southern sky is one of the best you'll find in Maine.
We love heading here with friends and blankets when the weather is a bit chilly. And if you do the short hike in the spring or fall you're almost guaranteed to have the place to yourself.
