Throughout the year there are plenty of ways to have fun in Maine. We love the activities that include being outside, but when the weather is rainy, snowy, or just plain cold we’re always ready to enjoy some time inside. And that’s why we love places like this bowling alley. It offers much more than just lanes!
While you'll certainly find the typical bowling experience here, complete with multiple lanes, the crash of pins and even some evening black lighting, this place is so much more than a simple bowling center.
And while we love the bowling, we'll be the first to admit that sometimes we visit just for the food! We typically don't enjoy our steak frites in the actual lane, but if we could you better believe we would!
The menu here is much more exciting than what you might find at a typical bowling center. Just check out these pork belly steam buns. The menu feels gourmet and the serving aesthetics are on par with a restaurant that only focuses on the food. Somehow Garden Street has perfected the art of the perfect bowling experience and great food!
And, because Garden Street has roots in Maine, it should come as no surprise that some dishes feature local lobster. Including this
mac & cheese with lobster from our Cape Porpoise.
This is a wonderful way to make a dull afternoon more fun. And, we just love that a visit here feels special.
Garden Street Bowl is open right now Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Remember that these hours may change, so keep up to date by checking out their website or visiting them on Facebook.
