Another thing we love about the Vacationland is that you don’t need to be in one of the larger towns or cities to enjoy the best food the state has to offer. In fact, this little spot is beloved amongst locals. But, if you drive by without paying attention you might not even notice it!

With a name like the Stow Corner Store, you might think this is a place to pick up forgotten essentials between grocery story trips. But the reality is that inside lies a warm, welcoming and wonderful cafe and bakery that locals absolutely love.

You'll find it in Stow, Maine in Oxford County. The location makes it a no-brainer for those on sleds who need to stop in to fuel up.

And, in the summer, it's a go-to place for ice cream flavors.
