We’re not happy to admit it – especially since it’s been a bit hit or miss in Maine this year – but summer will soon begin to wind down. Wait! Don’t despair. We may be headed straight for autumn, but we’ve still got some solid weeks of warm weather before that happens. To make the most of it, we recommend taking advantage of all the things that can only be done now. One example? This waterpark!
Funtown Splashtown in Saco is Northern New England’s largest water and amusement park.
THEN, be sure to make your way to the amusement park to enjoy things like Thunderbolt, Wild Mouse Coaster, Bumper Cars, Grand Prix Racers and the Astrosphere.
Funtown Splashtown is located at 774 Portland Avenue in Saco. You can call them on (207) 284-5139. If you’re local, it’s easy to drive and park. But, if you’re in the area for a visit, the park is reachable using the OOB Trolley from the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce or the Amtrak Downeaster at the Old Orchard Beach Station. Check them out online at the website or Facebook.
