If you love lobster and you love Maine, you’ve likely heard of (and been to!) the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland. This annual event is a must-do every August. But, donning a bib and cracking open an entire lobster isn’t for everyone. Good thing the lobster roll exists! This year, for the first time ever, the state of Maine is finally celebrating the venerable lobster roll. Move over regular ol’ red guy, it’s time for someone else to shine.
