The doors were first opened in 1986 and the original owner did what most Mainers do. He got up at 2:30 am and went to work. That hard work has paid off, because fast forward to today and everyone in the state knows about Big G’s.
Of course, a few things have changed over the years. They have expanded the building a few times to make room for their ever-growing popularity. But the service, food, and quality have stayed the same. You might have a new place to sit, but the same ginormous sandwiches will still be served.
