Maine is known for a lot of things – a gorgeous coastline, lighthouses, seafood – but nothing is as synonymous with Vacationland as lobster. Whether eating it or watching the boats come in after catching it all day, it’s hard not to involve the special crustacean in your daily Maine life. Aside from waking up before dawn to catch it, nothing will bring you closer to Maine lobster than spending a weekend at the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland, which takes place every summer.
If you’re looking for more lobster in your life, click here. You’ll be treated to an entire road trip dedicated to the best lobster rolls in the state of Maine!
