They say everything is bigger in Texas, but we’re going to have to disagree. That’s because no matter the actual size of the food, the meals in Maine are big on taste. Whether it’s lobster, clams, ice cream or donuts we’d rather chow down in Vacationland than just about any other place. But if you’re the literal type, we have that covered too. These cake slices are absolutely gigantic and it’s all we can do to stay away from them every time we’re in town!
Silly’s is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can learn more on their website or check them out on Facebook. You can reach them on 207-772-0360. Address: 40 Washington Avenue, Portland, ME 04101.
Got your appetite going? Then you’ll want to keep the momentum going with these 10 donut shops!
