It’s not every day that you can enjoy a great brew while also taking in the beauty of the great outdoors. Unless you’re in Maine. If that’s the case, you can do it every day by heading to Oxford County, which is just about an hour from Portland. Here, you’ll find an outpost of one of the state’s most beloved breweries. This one, just slightly off the beaten path is extra-special because it offers trails at a brewery right here in Maine.
Oxbow Beer Garden is open Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday, which is just as well because you’ll need to rest after a weekend of fun. You can learn more about this location and the others by checking out their website and by following them on Facebook. They can be reached at 207-539-5178.
