Load up on donuts, but also save room for their huge breakfast menu. Then, take a dozen to go for the ride!

Located fairly far away from the others on this list, Sadie's is worth the trip for true Maine donut lovers. This bakery was opened in 1948 and has been providing the Houlton area with fresh-baked goods on a daily basis ever since! There are two things on offer here. Either get the plain donut or the daily special. You'll leave happy no matter what you choose. You can pick up a sandwich or muffin here as well making it a great, well-rounded way to end your trip on the donut trail!
