When you think of Maine certain images may come to mind. Bright red, fresh lobster and rocky coastal views, perhaps. Or maybe lots of snow and wind! We like to think of the things that make this place lovely and to us, that’s the views over the ocean. If you not only love imagining the Maine coast but loving getting out to enjoy it you’ll want to head to southern Maine for this stroll along the water.
The Marginal Way is currently open, but visitors are required to wear masks while enjoying the walk. Between October 1st and April 1st dogs are allowed to visit, but remember to keep them on a leash. The path is about 5-feet wide in most areas. If you’d like to borrow a wheelchair you can do so at the Ogunquit Fire Department. Click here to check out other FAQs. You can learn more about its history here. And if you want to make a weekend of it, check out this website with lots of information on things to do while in Ogunquit.
