There is a little town northeast of Acadia National Park sitting near the sea that is small and unassuming and yet very charming. Many little towns just like this one sit all along the Maine coast leading up through the state. These little towns give our state life and history. They are beautiful and well worth visiting. Machias, Maine is one of those towns.
