There are trails located through the state, but we absolutely love the state parks here in Maine. Check out Mt. Blue State Park or Aroostook State Park for some of the most extensive.

One of the best ways to celebrate is by celebrating for an entire month! And the best way to celebrate for an entire month might just be in Bath. The Old-Fashioned Christmas fun began at the end of November and runs throughout December. We particularly love Trolley Christmas Caroling on Fridays & Saturdays through the end of the year.

One of the best things about Maine are the many small towns that dot the state. Visit any one of them this time of year and you're likely to be presented with some of the most lovely town trees anywhere in New England. Kennebunkport has one of the largest, but that's just one (very well-known) example. Ditch the plans, hop into the car and go explore!
While you’re looking for fun winter activities in Maine, consider planning a trip to this ice bar. It’s made of 20,000 pounds of pure ice and it’s incredible!
