If you’re looking for a view that will absolutely stun you, the Cadillac Summit Loop Trail will make you feel like you’re at the top of the world! Located in Acadia National Park, this hike will take you to the very top of Cadillac Mountain. Take the family and enjoy the view at the end of this easy trail.
If you’re in the Bar Harbor area, you need to do the Cadillac Summit Loop Trail.
The entire trail ascends at about a 4% grade, except for one section. There is a small, .2 mile section, where the grade is 15%. You can choose to turn around here and make it an out and back trail instead of a loop.
The trail is three feet wide, and a stroller can easily navigate it. This makes it very accessible for everyone in your party to take in the splendor that surrounds the summit.
It only takes 20 minutes to reach the best spot to take in the panoramic views. The parking lot can be busy, so make sure to get there early to grab a spot.
Even the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely stunning.
As a wonderful trail to start or end the day, this should be a must visit if you’re in the area. Bring the family and take in a sight you won’t forget!
