There’s nothing better than a nice, juicy burger. Whether it’s for lunch, for dinner or — heck — even for a solid snack, few things are more satisfying and biting into a burger topped with all the fixins’ and dripping in sauces. While there are tons of places to find one, you want to make sure you’re getting the best. To be sure, head straight for this place. It’s simple, cozy and perfect for the type of indulgence a burger brings.
FOG Bar & Cafe has been a local favorite since 2012 when the owners, the Gibson-Seelig family, realized that the space called out for a restaurant.
The signature burger features grass-fed, humanely raised beef. It's topped with sriracha onion rings, bacon jam and melted Asiago cheese. And, while we can't say that the toasted brioche bun is the only reason we get it, but we CAN say that without it this thing just wouldn't be the same. Don't forget the duck dusted fries.
Even better, they have a daily special burger that's always new and exciting. You know... just in case the impossible happens and you get tired of the signature!
Sure, there are a lot of good burgers in the state of Maine. But there's something extra special about being able to enjoy your favorite burger, with your favorite brew, with your favorite people, in your favorite state. We're gonna just assume all those things are true for everyone... not just us.
FOG Bar & Cafe is located at 328 Main St., Rockland, Maine. You can reach them on 207-593-9371. Visit them on Facebook to see more photos and keep up to date. With the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday, they’re open every day of the week from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
