The most important meal of the day is always breakfast. It’s the first thing you’ll have after hours of sleeping and it’s the meal that’s going to fuel your day. So, you might as well make sure you’re getting the best of the best. While it’s easy to go into the kitchen and pour a bowl of cereal, that’s not exactly the most nutritious way to start the day. Instead, help yourself to one of the best morning meals in the state at this diner in Norridgewock.
You'll find Wentworth's Country Diner hidden in Norridgewock, Maine. That's in Somerset County for those of you who don't venture too far from home. Although, we can't fault you. This place is heartily inland! Note that this eatery was previously called Holly & Doug's Country Diner.
But that's not the only thing they do well. As we all know, the best thing about a diner is breakfast and the ones here are deliciously prepared with love and they're huge.
Wentworth's is the kind of place you can visit on your own for a quiet start to your day, but if you show up with friends you can try all of the specials! We recommend that method to truly optimize the most important meal.
And don't forget to grab a tasty treat before you head out. This will come in handy for the late-afternoon which is the first time you'll probably be hungry again.
Wentworth’s Country Diner is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can keep up with the daily specials by following them on Facebook. Or you can give them a call on 207-634-3030.
