Picture this: It’s a sunny day in Maine. The temperature is warm (but not too hot!) and the seas are calm. Seagulls are flying overhead (but not being too bothersome!) and there’s not a mosquito in sight. Things in Vacationland don’t get much more perfect than this. Except when there’s seafood involved! Lots and lots of local Maine seafood. Of all the Maine boat trips you can embark on, this one offers the most quintessential experience.
The Cabbage Island Clambakes office is located at 22 Commercial St., Boothbay Harbor, ME. You can call the ticket booth on 207-633-7200. Check out their website, which includes the history of the operation and the menu by clicking here. They’re also on Facebook.
Trips take place from June through the September 9th, the weekend after Labor Day. Tickets are about $65 per person, which includes your narrated cruise and clambake.
