My name is Chris Dodge and I live right here in the great state of Tennessee. My family and I are full adventurers filled with passion to see the amazing things our state has to offer. We are avid hikers and have explored many different places in Tennessee and beyond but we are always thankful to be living in such a glorious state.
When you take a big bite of a juicy burger there is nothing quite like it. We all remember that euphoric feeling you get when you taste the combination of a thick beef patty, the crunch of lettuce, and the sweet mixture of your favorite condiments. We have made hamburgers for well over 100 years but some places have perfected it. We have found quite possibly the best burger in Maine, and couldn’t help but share it with you.
Butcher Burger emerged in 2014 in a little ocean-side town called Old Orchard.
It’s a well-known beach town for those looking for a little fun in the sun. So with heavy foot traffic and a massive summer tourist season, this restaurant was free to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Their burgers were so good that you can fast forward to today and they have grown their business. Three locations across our state serve these delicious culinary pieces of mouth-watering art.
So whether you go to Bethel, Old Orchard, or Old Port in Portland, you will be greeted with a chill environment and fantastic food.
The Surf & Turf Burger takes the great tastes of the land and sea in a wonderful union. Top-notch beef patty and Maine’s classic lobster are all nestled together with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo.
When you serve up Maine’s finest lobster you also have to know they also have a killer lobster roll. You can order a regular lobster roll or you can get it hot-buttered, or crispy.
Other incredible combinations include The Hawian, which adds pineapple and teriyaki mayo to your burger. Drive into the Lobster Grilled Cheese, or pulled pork sandwich with South Carolina BBQ sauce.
Crispy chicken and a fried egg between two perfect Belgium waffles then pour on the Maine maple syrup. This little taste of the south meets some of Maine’s finest ingredients creating a wild ride for your taste buds.
We’ve all tasted good burgers, but now is the time to try the best burger in Maine. Butcher Burger takes some crazy turns when it comes to combinations and our stomachs are happy with the results. So make your way to any of the three locations for your taste of Maine’s finest. For more information please visit the Butcher Burger website.
