The Beautiful Bridge Hike In Maine That Will Completely Mesmerize You
There are few things more wonderful than heading outside on a warm, sunny day in Maine to experience the great outdoors. While the promise of a “warm, sunny day in Maine” feels very far away we’re going to keep on planning our summer weekends just in case. At some point, the days of waking up to windshields covered in ice have to end, right? Assuming they do, this bridge hike in Maine is one of the most fun things you can do on the southern coastline. It’s easy, provides water views, and leads to one of the most fun little attractions in the state!
To access the trail head to Route 103 where you can find parking off of York Street by the bridge. The bridge is just to the right. Look towards the left for the path leading to the Fisherman’s Walk. This trail is incredible from enchanted woods, a wiggling bridge, and a seaside walk leading to a beach! This trail offers so much variety in such a short walk and we would highly recommend it. The best thing to do before you head out on the trail is to download the AllTrails app and get the map for Fisherman’s Walk Trail to Wiggly Bridge. Then you can keep track of where you are on this one-of-a-kind bridge hike in Maine. If you would like to continue this trail further add the York Harbor Cliff Walk Trail. Feel free to check out this Adventuring in the Moment video to see the whole trail back when we hiked this area.
These 8 lesser-known state parks in Maine are also a fun way to fill up your summer weekends!
