Beyond the U.S., Michelle's wanderlust has taken her on a motorcycle journey through India, led her to teach English in Hanoi, and saw her studying Spanish in Guatemala. Michelle graduated with a communications degree from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and in addition to a career in advertising has worked with OnlyInYourState since 2016, where her love for travel and storytelling converges. The beautiful state of Maine isn’t called Vacationland for no reason. While we might be a tad biased, it’s absolutely true that being here feels like a break from the rest of the world. That explains why tourists flock here throughout the year and why a record number of people are moving here. If you already live here, lucky you! If you love shopping you'll love Freeport! This small Maine town is one of the most picturesque places to shop and there are plenty of places to do it. Take in the shopping, then enjoy a meal at a local Tavern before heading back to your bed and breakfast for a good night's sleep. The next day, head out for a hike. This is also a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

You'll make your way through Sagadahoc County, past Doubling Point Lighthouse and then to Five Islands Lobster where you'll end your journey with an amazing lobster roll!
