Open Year-Round, The Anti-Gravity Complex At Sugarloaf Is A Thrill You Can Enjoy

As any Mainer knows, having a strong list of activities to enjoy in any weather is important. In the spring and summer we often get rain or fog while the fall and winter bring their own unexpected precipitation issues. The good news is that there are plenty of things to do that don’t include getting outside. And each of these options is unique and fun. If you’re not sure what kind of activity to want to enjoy, today’s focus might be a good option for you to explore!

The next time you're in the Carrabassett Valley region and find yourself stuck inside, consider a visit to the Antigravity Complex for indoor fun that can't be beat.

From the outside, this place resembles a warehouse. But the reality is that inside there's tons of fun to be had throughout the year.

The gym-like complex offers tons of activities, including some you probably won't find anywhere else. First, you'll find a fully-equipped with both cardio and strength equipment.

But things get even more fun from here! They've also got a skate park with all sorts of obstacles.

Kids 14 and under can sign up for private skateboard lessons for $55 an hour for three kids. Be sure to bring a helmet as they don't offer rentals. This is a fun way to learn a new activity *without* having to worry about the weather.

They also have a trampoline area that's also open for lessons. Instructors are available for private hourly rentals for $70 per hour.

And our favorite activity might be the climbing wall! This is another feature offering hourly lessons for $70 per hour.

There are also a number of group classes and courts for public use.

The Anti-Gravity Complex is open at different hours depending on the season. Winter 2021 hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday they’re open all day from 7 a.m. to p.m. You can learn more about visiting by checking out the website.
