With Thanksgiving on the way, you might be in panic mode. We can only say that because we are. Despite knowing that the holiday comes up every year, it seems there’s always a mad dash to get things done. Choose the menu, find the decorations, clean the house! And that doesn’t even include serving and the clean-up. Rather than stress-out, consider leaving things in the hands of one Maine’s most quintessential dining experiences this year.
The Muddy Rudder can't be missed as you're driving on US-1 or 295 North. Located in Yarmouth, it might just be one of the most quintessential Maine restaurants in the region.
You can visit every day of the week for lunch and dinner and on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast, but we love their holiday buffets the most. And this Thanksgiving's version might just be the best!
There are 4 different stations, including a soup station, a carving station, a dessert station and (our favorite!) the "Maine Line" station featuring all the things you love about Thanksgiving with a decidedly Vacationland flair.
The carving station will features roast turkey breast with gravy as well as beef tenderloin, making this the best Thanksgiving meal for folks who might want to try something other than turkey this year.
We love the Muddy Rudder, but we love it even more for the variety of dishes they'll be serving at the buffet on Thanksgiving. And, if you can't make it for turkey day be sure to check out their website listed below for other holiday buffets. New Year's Day is another great occasion!
The Thanksgiving buffet at Muddy Rudder is served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on Thursday November 28th, 2019. The cost is $37.95 for adults, $35.95 for seniors and $14.95 for kids under the age of 12. Learn more about it here. And be sure to call ahead for reservations on 207-846-3082.
