Hanging lights is no longer just a Christmas pastime. Sure — we love our sparkling lights around the holidays, but it has now spilled over into other seasons. Events that utilize lights have become so popular around Christmas time that others are now doing them for other events throughout the year. That is exactly what you will find at this one southern Maine farm this year. So mark your calendars because there is an alien light show event in Maine that you won’t want to miss.

Sandy Farms in Eliot, Maine, has started making a reputation for its light shows.

Each year they host an amazing Christmas walk-through event with sparkling lights and wonderful lit-up show pieces. The walk-through takes you through a ¾-mile walk through the woods to see the art. Each section has interesting one-of-a-kind displays to marvel at.
Similar to the Christmas event they do put on every year, they also have done two other fall light shows.

In 2020 they hosted their "Folklore Fall" event and in 2021 "The Magical World of Bugs" light show. They were greeted with great reviews so they are coming back for the 3rd year.
This fall they will be introducing their new “Out Of This World” Event. This one is claimed to be the best one yet and should be quite stellar.
