The Worcester Lunch Company made pre-fabricated diners from 1906 to 1957, and shipped them all over the country. While many of those classic diners have gone by the wayside, there are two left in Maine. A1 Diner in Gardiner, serves up delicious food, including some burgers to die for, and it’s been around since 1946. Check it out:
Welcome to A1 Diner! This charming little diner has been serving up delicious diner food since 1946.
These burgers are made fresh, with quality ingredients. There are 10 different kinds to choose from, including versions like the bacon burger, blue cheese burger, north of the border and south of the border burgers, and more.
Burgers aren't the only thing on the menu worth ordering - everything is downright delicious. Choose from a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and entrees - it's all scrumptious.
A1 Diner also serves tasty breakfast! Enjoy omelets, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and more, starting at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
