9. Hike to Maine’s highest peak.
If you’re ready for a challenge, hike Katahdin, Maine’s tallest peak at an elevation of 5,267 feet. The climb is challenging, but the view is worth it.
10. Take a nature walk on Mackworth Island.
Stroll around the island on the 1.25-mile trail; the views of Casco Bay and Portland are stunning!
11. Ride the carousel at Old Orchard Beach.
While you’re there, grab some Pier Fries or ice cream and take a walk along the beach.

13. Yarmouth Clam Festival
Visit Yarmouth for the famous annual Clam Festival. Make sure to say hello to Steamer. This year’s festival takes place July 15th through 17th.
14. Drive up Cadillac Mountain.
Take the Summit Road 3.5 miles to the top. Once you’re there, this is the view you’ll enjoy!
15. See a moose at Baxter State Park.
