When it comes to Maine food, most people think of seafood. This we know — in fact, we’re proud of it! But, those who live here know that the best Maine food covers a wide variety of things people love. Sure, seafood is included, but we also make some of the best baked goods, BBQ and burgers. But today we’re celebrating pizza. And not just any pizza. This place might just make you rethink how often you eat this Italian specialty each week!
Flippin' Good in East Waterboro might look like just another restaurant from the outside.
The first thing you might notice is the burger menu. You'll find some expected options — including a half-pound of turkey and a half-pound of beef. But, in a totally unique twist, you'll also find kangaroo and camel!
And burgers come in a variety of styles including a past special, the Memphis burger. This one features
a 1/3-lb Black Angus Burger with American cheese and a scoop of ground BB pork rib meat! Along with all that you get their special dill pickle chips and onion strands all served with their fresh cut fries.
