You’ll find Vermilionville right in the heart of Cajun Country. This incredible living history museum allows visitors to take a step back in time and catch a glimpse at that early Acadian life was like from 1765 to 1890. The 23-acre site is a history lover’s paradise, and certainly worthy of a road trip from any corner of the state. There also happens to be an incredible little restaurant nestled within this historic spot that’s serving up some of the most authentic Cajun cuisine you’ve ever tasted. Let’s check it out.
